This is basically a measure of the molecular charge that shows the level at which a food or drink has the ability to oxidize or to reduce oxidation in your body. So in essence, it determines what’s an oxidant or an anti-oxidant.

In scientific terms, ORP is measured in mV (millivolts). A positive ORP charge (+ mV) indicates that the substance is an oxidant. The higher the positive charge the stronger the oxidation.
Think of oxidation as rust on metal or decay in foods, like the browning of a cut apple.

Oxidation is a natural process that happens to everyone. As you age, your body tissues suffer from oxidative stress due to the process of oxidation. Oxidation occurs when molecules within your body lose electrons to electrically-charged molecules of oxygen in your blood stream. These electrically charged oxygen molecules are called "free radicals " and they have the potential to cause damage to cellular DNA. Over time, the damage can become irreversible and lead to diseases.

A NEGATIVE ORP (- mV ) indicates the ability to donate electrons: the higher the negative charge, the greater the ability to provide electrons. At this level, a food or drink has the ability to be an antioxidant, which is healthier for your body.
Free radicals in your body are oxidants and their ability to oxidize cells is eliminated or reduced by the addition of electrons from foods or drinks with a negative ORP. Again, substances with a high negative ORP are anti-oxidants

We offer Free Shipping to the UK mainland only, We will dispatch your item by the next business day with Royal Mail, or through a well respected UK courier. if payment is received before 15:00, Tracking numbers will be provided.

Payments

Payment can only be made by PayPal. However if you do not have a PayPal account press the button and
choose, " Pay by Debit or Credit Card. you can securely fill in your card details and PayPal will carry out your transaction.
To ensure your purchase is protected we will only ship to your registered PayPal address. If your shipping address is different than your PayPal address, please add the shipping address to your authorised addresses in your PayPal account or Input the shipping address if paying as PayPal Guest Checkout.

Every jug is 100% tested by a qualified electrician before being shipped out to each customer, and that the jug is fully functional and damage free.

Returns Policy
​

If any of your items arrive damaged, we will replace them and we will ask you to return the damaged items. We will refund any reasonable return postage costs - proof of posting costs will be required. Where items are damaged in transit you may be asked to provide information to help us reclaim our costs. If any of your items arrive damaged, please retain the items and packaging and contact us via email.

Damages must be reported to us within 2 working days of receipt. Under UK law when you purchase items from us you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of these items within a period of 30 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered.

If you wish to cancel any part of an order you have placed with us, please contact email us at info@hydro-life.co.uk . Please note that to cancel items that have already been dispatched you will need to return those items to us at your cost to be received within 30 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered.

We strongly recommend you get proof of posting your items, such as a free certificate of posting at a post office or use a recorded delivery service for returning items. Please note distance selling regulations do not apply to items that have been made bespoke for you or bought for business purposes.

For custom business orders, i.e. orders not available via our website but put together on request (usually for large quantities), once an invoice has been issued all these orders will be subject to a 20% restocking fee if cancelled. The restocking fee covers the time and cost of preparing a custom order and ordering in goods to fulfil the order. Any refunds that fall outside of the above are at the discretion of management.
